Build a bike at MotoGP at the Mandalica Circuit, this is how Marc Marquez and Paul Espargaro ride
With the look of a large automatic motorcycle, this high-performance sports scooter will support the activities of Marc Marquez and Paul Espargaro. Also the entire RHT crew during pre-season testing and the MotoGP Championship at Pertamina Mandalica Urban International Circuit.
There are four units of motorcycles produced by the nation's children that have appeared as circuit bikes for the Honda Factory Racing Team at the Mandalika MotoGP. Two of them use the bike number 93 of eight-time world champion, Marc Marquez. While number 44 was for his partner Paul Espargaro. The other two units will be used by Circuit staff to fill them up while they work in the circuit area.
“We chose the all-new Honda Vario 160 premium sport scooter with the 'Bigger, Bigger, Proud' concept to design a special RHT as a way for the enthusiasm to demonstrate optimal performance to Honda drivers, making us proud and inspiring everyone, especially Honda Vario enthusiasts,” explained Thomas Wijaya, PT Marketing Director AHM Thomas Wijaya. The new Honda Vario 160 uses wider tubeless tires, 100/80-14 at the front and 120/70-14 at the rear, as well as a combination of titanium-colored burnt-out rims in ABS that provide ease and comfort to drive.
This motorcycle, the new Honda Vario 160 ABS, is equipped with safety elements such as an anti-lock brake system (ABS) and a rear position brake device equipped with a rear disc brake.
The safety and security feature is that Honda's smart key system is equipped with an alarm and response system to provide a sense of safety to the driver. By applying eSAF (Enhanced Intelligent Architectural Framework) technology, this scooter is more flexible and easier to ride.
“Having MotoGP at Mandalika certainly makes the Indonesian people proud. We want to reinforce that sense of pride by offering bikes made by the nation’s children,” Thomas Wijaya concluded.
