Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were delighted at the birth of their second child, a girl, on Friday. The little princess named Lilibet "Lili" Diana Mountbatten-Windsor was born in good health.

"Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their daughter, Lilibet "Lili" Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, into the world with great joy," Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's representatives said, as stated in their official statement.

Lili was born on Friday, June 4 at 11:40 a.m. with the help of trusted doctors and staff at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, CA. She (baby Lili) was born weighing 7 lbs 11 oz (3.48 kg). The mother and child are in good health and well, and have settled in at home," the statement continued.

Baby Lili's beautiful name given by her parents certainly immediately stole the attention. Lilibet "Lili" Diana Mountbatten-Windsor is a combination of her great-great-grandmother and great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth and Princess Diana.

"Lili is taken from her great-grandmother, Her Majesty the Queen, whose family nickname is Lilibet. Her middle name, Diana, was chosen in honor of her late beloved grandmother, the Princess of Wales," reads the couple's official statement relinquishing their royal status.
